Marissa A. West, formerly Marissa A. Olson, was born in Minot, North Dakota. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (2002) with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy and Political Science, and the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University, Buies Creek, North Carolina, (2009) where she served as a Comments Editor of the Law Review.

She worked as a Bankruptcy Legal Specialist and a Bankruptcy Team Leader with AmeriCredit Financial in Arlington, Texas between her undergraduate and graduate education.

Ms. West maintains a general practice with an emphasis on Business Entities, Commercial Law, Bankruptcy Law and Litigation. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the North Carolina Bar Association and the Alamance County Bar Association.
